A Real Life in Technicolour project

WILD COURAGE (9).png

STORY → RECOGNITION → CONNECTION

Everybody deserves to know their life matters.

WHAT IS WILD COURAGE?

We are more than the things that have happened to us.
More than the labels we're given.
More than the version of a life that can be told in a sentence.

Wild Courage goes looking for the human stories beneath the surface.

Through film, photography, writing, art and conversation, I’ll be travelling out into the wild

meeting people and exploring the experiences

that shape us - the history we carry, the labels

we’re given, the connections that hold us, and the courage it takes to keep writing what comes next.

EVERYBODY HAS A STORY

DSC_0503.JPG

We are more than the labels we're given.
More than the things that have happened to us.
More than the version of our lives that

can be told in a sentence.

Behind every label is a human being with a story.

Stories of love and loss.

Courage and fear.

Grief and joy.

Creativity, belonging, adventure, survival,

ordinary days and extraordinary moments.

Wild Courage goes looking for those stories

because each one matters..

THE EXTRAORDINARY HELD WITHIN

THE ORDINARY.

30 DAYS OF

BEING HUMAN

THE FIRST CHAPTER

10 September → 10 October 2026

For 30 days, I’m going out into the wild.

Collecting stories. Asking questions.

Meeting people I might otherwise have walked past.

Looking beyond the labels to the human underneath.

Thirty days of listening, noticing and staying curious

about what it means to be human.

Along the way, I'll be inviting people to add a name, a word, a hope or a message to a growing collection of handmade flags - a physical record of the people, stories and lives encountered along the way.

As a therapeutic art practitioner and coach, I have seen time and again the power of creativity and my vision is for a travelling art installation and exhibitions to be a foundational part of
Wild Courage.

Photography, painting, drawing, sculpture, creative writing have all helped me explore what it
is to be human and process my life experiences. My hope is for Wild Courage to enable this for others too.

I want to get in touch because...

Please be assured I read every message.
You don't need to have your story neatly figured out before you get in touch.
